Privacy Policy — Workflow Importer/Exporter for GHL

The short version: This extension does not collect, store, sell, or
transmit your personal data to anyone. It runs entirely in your browser and talks only
to GoHighLevel's own servers — the same ones you're already logged into.
What this extension does
Workflow Importer/Exporter for GHL lets you export a GoHighLevel (GHL) workflow — its
actions, nodes, and triggers — to a .json file on your computer, and import
a previously exported .json file back into a workflow. It is a tool for GHL
users and agencies to back up, duplicate, and move workflows between workflows or accounts
they already have access to.
Information the extension accesses
To do its job, the extension reads two things from your own active GHL session:
Your GHL session token. When you use GoHighLevel, your browser sends an
authorization token with each request to GHL's backend. The extension reads that token so
it can call the same GHL API the workflow builder uses. The token is stored temporarily in
your browser's local extension storage and is used only to make requests to GHL on your
behalf. It is never sent anywhere except GoHighLevel.
Workflow data. When you export, the extension reads the workflow you have
open (actions, settings, triggers) and hands it to your browser to download as a file. When
you import, it reads the file you select and writes it into the workflow you have open.
What the extension does NOT do
It does not collect, store, or transmit your data to the developer or any third party.
It does not use analytics, tracking, advertising, or cookies.
It does not sell or share any information with anyone.
It has no external server or backend of its own. Every network request goes
directly to GoHighLevel's servers (backend.leadconnectorhq.com).
Where your data goes
Exported files are saved locally to your own computer by your browser. Imported data is written
directly to your own GoHighLevel account. The session token stays in your browser's local storage
and is only ever transmitted back to GoHighLevel. No data passes through, or is retained by, the
developer.
Data retention
The extension keeps only the current session token and recently seen workflow/trigger data in your
browser's local storage so it can function. This is cleared when you remove the extension. You can
also clear it any time from Chrome's extension settings.
Permissions and why they're needed
Access to GHL's backend domain — to read your session token from your own
requests and call the GHL API on your behalf.
Storage — to hold the session token and workflow data locally while you use the tool.
Tabs — to detect which workflow you currently have open so it knows what to export or import into.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.
